Swollen lymph nodes, abdominal pain, and bloody noses led to a trip to the Doctor. That trip led to a referral to Riley Children’s Hospital and a diagnosis of acute lymphoblastic leukemia. No one envisioned this for Blain or our family and it turned our world upside down. Through the good days and the bad, we have learned to not look to the past, not look to the future, and live in the moment. 

After having received an immense outpouring of love and support from communities we consider family, we were inspired to pay it forward. We never could have imagined the emotional support and financial assistance we received. This foundation is our dream of paying forward the love we received and helping other young adults and teens who face blood cancers.
